The Pittsburgh Harlequins can feel thankful this Thanksgiving Weekend after emerging from the fall Mid-Atlantic club season 6-3 and with a guaranteed spot in the Competitive Region 1 playoffs.
This was a big improvement over the last two season, where the Harlequins finished 3-5 in 2009 and 4-5 in 2010 and out of the running.
But, thankful as they are, Pittsburgh thinks a little about what could have been.

Interview with Steve Walsh, Coach, Pittsburgh Harlequins
NOVEMBER 8, 2011
By Pittsburgh Sports Daily Bulletin
Steve Walsh: How has the 2011 campaign been so far for the Harlequins?
2011 has seen a young side realize some of its potential. Our attacking has improved and the ability to play for a full 80 minutes or rather never say a game is over are a big part of this team now. Up until last week we were only 4 points from a perfect season.
The Harlequins travelled to Norfolk Virginia to take on the Norfolk Blues (5-2) to determine second place in the Mid-Atlantic. THe Harlequins came up short on the road, 53-33 and drop to 5-3 in League play.
